VINTAGE CLOTHING DISCLAIMER:

-Please be aware that all vintage items will usually show a few signs of wear or slight fading due to age, but anything visible such as stains, rips or holes will be noted in the item description. We do not have the operational capacity to wash all of our items before sending, as most of our stock is pre-worn we advise customers to wash their items upon receiving.

-Vintage sizes do vary, but we try our best to accurately describe the size & fit of an item by today's standards, not just what the garments tag size is. If you have any sizing concerns then please feel free to get in touch via our contact button/page to ask about measurements, we will be happy to help.

-Please note actual product colours may vary slightly. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor or phone display has a different capability to show colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. We try our best to take photographs that show the products as life-like as possible. However, we cannot 100% guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the item.

-We are not responsible for items once they have been dispatched, that lies with the postal provider. We offer shipping options with full insurance, should a parcel go missing at fault of the postal provider.

DO I NEED AN ONLINE ACCOUNT TO SHOP WITH YOU?

-If you would like to purchase online, you will need to register with Distinct Threads and create an account. Registering your account is quick and easy. At the Checkout, you will be asked to Login or Register.

-New customers need only to fill out their email address and password during the checkout process to create an account. Simply follow the checkout steps and remember, we keep all of your personal details safe and do not share with any third parties.

ACCOUNT BENEFITS:

-You will only have to complete your name and address details once.

-You will be able to store as many shipping addresses as you wish for quicker ordering.

-You will be able to view your order history.

-You will be able to add items to your 'wish list' - allowing you to keep track of all of your favourite items, whether you're on your computer, phone, or tablet. It can also be shared via email with friends and family.

-You will start earning points for every purchase, which will go towards unlocking money off vouchers.

    HOW ARE PAYMENTS MADE?

    -Payments are made safely and securely through PayPal, Stripe or Apple Pay at the website checkout. We recommend paying via PayPal but any of the above methods are accepted. You can use all debit/credit cards to pay through Stripe or PayPal.

    WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING COSTS?

    UK DELIVERY OPTIONS:

    1. Standard Shipping Limited Cover £3.49 - This is the cheaper delivery option, which may be sent tracked or not. It is only insured up to £20, *therefore this is the most that can be claimed should the parcel go missing.
    2. Tracked Shipping With Full Cover (Recommended) £4.49 - This is always a fully tracked delivery and it is insured up to a value of £100.
    3. Tracked Heavy Goods Shipping (1kg-2kg) Tracked With Full Cover £9.99 - This is for orders where the weight of the item(s) exceeds 1kg. It is a tracked delivery service and fully insured for the total value.

      1. International Tracked & Signed (0-500g) - £10.49
      2. International Tracked & Signed (500g-700g) - £11.99
      3. International Tracked & Signed (710g-1kg) - £12.99
      4. International Tracked & Signed (1kg-1.8kg) - £14.99

        HOW LONG DO UK ORDERS TAKE?

        -All UK orders take 1-2 working days to process and handle. They are then dispatched via Royal Mail or myHermes depending on the delivery option and delivery will then take 3-5 working days. If you would like an alternate postage option such as next day or special delivery, then please get in touch with us via the contact page - before or immediately after your purchase. This will be at an additional cost.

        HOW LONG DO EUROPEAN ORDERS TAKE?

        -European orders take 1-2 working days to process and handle. They are then dispatched via Royal Mail. Please then allow up to 30 days for delivery, Although most items are delivered within 5-7 working days. If you would like an alternate postal service, then please contact us before or immediately after your purchase. This may be at an additional cost.

        HOW LONG DO INTERNATIONAL ORDERS TAKE?

        -International orders take 1-2 working days to process and handle. They are then dispatched via Royal Mail. Please then allow up to 30 days for delivery, Although most items are delivered within 7-14 working days. If you would like an alternate postal service, then please contact us before or immediately after your purchase. This may be at an additional cost.

        DO I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOM'S CHARGES? 

        If you're ordering products to be delivered outside of the EU, they may be subject to taxes, fees, levies or other charges due to local laws or customs rules. Whoever your order is addressed to is responsible for all customs costs associated with the import of the products, and will be required to pay any additional charges for international delivery.

        RETURNS?

        -Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your purchase on faulty or misdescribed items only (not for sizing issues). Providing the item(s) are returned unworn and in the condition they were originally sent in. Otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

        -With this in mind, please feel free to get in touch and ask any questions about an Item; or for any measurements prior to purchase. We will be happy to assist.

         MY ORDER HASN'T ARRIVED?

        -If your order hasn't turned up at the time it was expected, check in case a card has been put through your letterbox whilst you were out. Next, check if your immediate neighbours have taken the parcel in for you. Failing that, please allow up to one week in case of postal delays, but feel free to contact and notify us of the situation.

        -If there is still no show after you have tried the above - please get in touch with us via the contact button/page, stating the order number. We make sure to cover all of our parcels with the correct insurance. So if the item has genuinely been lost, we will make a claim on your behalf with the postal provider. As the majority of our items are one-off's we will not be able to replace your item(s).
